Privacy
What we hold
What you give us: your name, email, company, role, industry, links and anything you write in a request or profile. Nothing is bought from third parties.
Who sees it
Other attendees of an event you are on the list for can see your name — in the shape you choose — plus your role, company and interests. Your email address is never shown to other members. You can remove yourself from the attendee list at any time in settings.
Connection codes
When someone scans your code we record that a scan happened, who it was between when we know, which event it belonged to, and when. We do not record IP addresses, device identifiers or browser fingerprints for scans.
Security
Invite codes are stored as salted hashes, not as text. Rate limiting stores a salted hash of an IP address for a short window, never the address itself.
Photography
Photography takes place at events. You can tell us you would rather not be photographed, on the request form or in your profile, and we will pass that to the photographer.
Deletion
Ask us and we will delete your account and profile. Aggregate scan counts that no longer identify you may remain.
